In addition to the article that I will be writing, my magazine includes several other articles. There are several shorter "monthly" type articles and opinion pieces, as well as longer feature articles. The first article in the magazine is a review of a new car (I'm going to be talking about a high-end luxury or sports car). These articles are very common in automotive magazines, and tend to vary in length depending on how in-depth the review is. I also have several articles in my magazine that relate to news in a specific part of the automotive industry (Industry news, Eco-Car News, Motorsports News, Aftermarket parts news). These articles target specific audience interests and are short, informative articles that talk about current events. I also included both an opinion piece, and an editorial. The next larger (featured) article is called "Head 2 Head", which is an article that compares two cars of similar characteristics (two cars that a marketed against each other) and compare their features, specs, and stats. I included a motorsports section in my magazine that includes a news section, a leaderboard section, and a race schedule. The article labeled "Cover Article" is going to talk about a car of the year, which is a popular automotive magazine trend in which the magazine tests many cars and picks the one that is the best all around. Sometimes, readers are even invited to send in their votes for the car that they think is best. There are two different automotive event reviews, one of a car meet (a casual meeting of automotive enthusiasts), and the other is of an auto show (an official event where manufacturers bring their current, new, and future models for the public and press). There is also a section called "consumer advice", where readers can share their personal experiences with owning different cars. The next large article is titles "FIA 2021 Rule Change", ad discusses the changes in rules and regulations for the 2021 formula 1 motorsports season. This is a HUGE source of discussion and controversy in the motorsports industry, and as such, this is one of the more important articles of the issue. There is a "VIP of the month" section that talks about an important individual in the automotive industry and how they're creating change or trends. The largest section in the magazine is the "Used Car Classifieds" section, where dealerships and private owners can send in ads for listings of pre-owned vehicles. This is common in some car magazines, especially when dealing with rare or high-end automobiles. The "On this day in history" section discusses major events that happened during the month of the issue, as well as the magazine issue that came out one year ago, two years ago, three years ago, (etc.). I included an "automotive gift guide" to go along with the holiday season. This is very common for automotive magazines to do, usually centering around watches, clothing, memorabilia, and décor that is themed around motoring history or a specific car manufacturer/racing team. The final article in the magazine, dubbed "Future Cars Article", will discuss what to look forward to in the automotive industry in the upcoming decade.
